• Assistant Lecturer of Corporate Law at Oporto University’s Law Faculty since 1998. Lecturer of Introduction to the Law at the East Timor University, Dili (2006); Lecturer of several post graduate courses at the Faculty of Law of the Univesity of Oporto (2002-2005).
• Mentor in the subject of Corporate Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra (1989-1993).
• Co-Author of the Report on “Exploring the tranparency of the Legal provisions on companies and trusts in the European Union Member States”.

• Law Degree, Portuguese Catholic University (1987).
• Master Degree in Corporate Legal Sciences, University of Coimbra, Faculty of Law, (1997); Ph.D in Commercial Law by the Oporto University, Faculty of Law (2009)
